The Disney Animation building at DCA was a nice surprise for us as we hadn't really read about it at all. The 360° pre-show in the main area is pretty cool - no real story to speak of, just a fun celebration of Disney animated classics and it definitely had our boys' attention.

I always wondered about the too-ing and fro-ing the males do but suspect it's about trying to get in the correct position to allow him to score a very quick touchdown with his pedipalp. this animation appears to show a the male just has to rotate to score

An exiting view at the monitor, even more when the images were framed together as an animation. 104 minutes of recording before clouds formed. TS 155mm refractor, Baader 3x Telecentric, Daystar prominence filter. Average to very bad seeing.
